This policy applies to tickets and registrations managed by Make Sierra Leone Famous LLC for Sierra Leone Diaspora Week and the Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment Conference.
Freetown 2026 Purchases
New passes purchased for Sierra Leone Diaspora Week in Freetown, December 28, 2026 through January 5, 2027, are non-refundable except when the organizer cancels or materially reschedules the paid access covered by your pass.
Attendee Transfers
You may transfer a Freetown 2026 pass to another attendee through December 14, 2026. To request a transfer, email vickie@vrcmarketing.com with the order number, the original purchaser’s email address, and the replacement attendee’s full name and email address.
A transfer is complete only after the organizer confirms it. Passes may not be resold for more than the original purchase price or used for unauthorized commercial resale.
Cancellation or Material Rescheduling
If the organizer cancels the paid access covered by your pass or materially reschedules it, you may choose replacement access or request a refund of the affected ticket price. Programme, speaker, venue, session, or timing adjustments that do not materially remove the paid access are not, by themselves, grounds for a refund.
Existing Silver Spring Purchases
This section applies only to customers who previously purchased access for the Silver Spring event. Those buyers may request one of the following: transfer their purchase to Freetown 2026, receive credit for Silver Spring 2027, or request a refund. Email vickie@vrcmarketing.com with your order details and preferred option.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and the customer’s bank. We will confirm when a refund has been initiated. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, bank account, or PayPal account.
Travel and Other Costs
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the organizer is not responsible for airfare, visas, accommodation, ground transport, or other costs arranged separately by an attendee. Consider flexible or insured travel arrangements.
