These Terms and Conditions apply to registrations and pass purchases for Sierra Leone Diaspora Week in Freetown, December 28, 2026 through January 5, 2027, organized by Make Sierra Leone Famous LLC.
Orders and Acceptance
By registering, placing an order, or using an event pass, you agree to these terms, the Ticket Transfers & Refunds Policy, and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate contact, attendee, and billing information. An order is accepted when the website issues an order confirmation. We may contact the purchaser to verify order or attendee details.
Passes and Prices
Pass names, prices, dates, and stated inclusions are shown on the ticket page at the time of purchase. Prices are listed and charged in United States dollars (USD). A free pass still requires registration and remains subject to these terms. Paid access is limited to the inclusions stated for the selected pass.
The $325 VIP price is an early offer available through November 1, 2026 unless it sells out or is withdrawn before then. No later VIP price is promised by these terms.
Payment and Guest Checkout
You may check out as a guest. You are responsible for using a valid email address that you can access, because confirmations and event updates are sent to that address. Payment is processed by the payment method selected at checkout. Failed, reversed, disputed, or incomplete payments do not create valid paid access.
Registration and Event Access
Each attendee must satisfy any registration, identification, age, conduct, or venue requirements communicated for the relevant programme activity. Passes may be checked against the confirmed attendee or order record. The organizer may refuse or remove access for fraud, unauthorized resale, unsafe behavior, harassment, serious disruption, or failure to follow reasonable venue and event rules.
Transfers and Refunds
New Freetown 2026 purchases are non-refundable except when the organizer cancels or materially reschedules the paid access. Attendee transfers are accepted through December 14, 2026 and must be confirmed by the organizer. Programme Changes
Speakers, venues, session times, transport details, and programme activities may change when reasonably necessary. Changes that do not materially remove the paid access are not grounds for a refund. If the organizer cancels or materially reschedules the paid access, the remedies in the Ticket Transfers & Refunds Policy apply.
Vendor and Showcase Participation
A Vendor Pass provides only the inclusions stated on the ticket page. Vendors remain responsible for their products, displays, staffing, permits, taxes, insurance, safety, and compliance with venue and applicable legal requirements. Participation does not imply endorsement by the organizer.
Travel and Personal Arrangements
Unless a ticket inclusion expressly says otherwise, attendees are responsible for passports, visas, health requirements, flights, accommodation, local transport, insurance, and personal expenses. The organizer is not responsible for losses arising from separately arranged travel or accommodation.
Intellectual Property and Media
Event names, branding, website content, programme materials, photographs, and recordings may be protected by intellectual-property rights. You may not use event branding or materials for misleading, unauthorized commercial, or unlawful purposes. Photography or recording notices displayed at a venue or programme activity must be followed.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost business opportunity, or losses caused by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy
We process registration, order, payment, communications, and website information as described in the Privacy Policy.
